Abstract
Purpose: This study aims to propose the direction for developing design guidelines to support the practical application of fire safety improvement standards and guidelines for logistics facilities. Method: Based on previous design application case study results, this study analyzed the design reflection process, application limitations, and key review items for drawing preparation by each standard and guideline. Result: The analysis showed that a guideline framework including application procedures, drawing reflection methods, and design considerations is necessary for the practical application of the standards and guidelines. Conclusion: This study proposes the direction for establishing design guidelines to improve the practical applicability of newly developed standards and guidelines and to support future institutionalization and standardization.
