Purpose: In this study, in addition to the 40mm and 65mm fire hoses generally used by firefighter in Korea, the range and availability of 50mm fire hoses, which are not currently in use, were analyzed. Method: Each hose was tested by increasing the pressure from 0.3Mpa to 1.2Mpa, measuring quantitative repulsion using a pressure sensor, water discharge using a flow meter, and qualitative repulsion for men and women, confirming the following results. Result: Quantitative repulsive force using a pressure sensor showed the minimum repulsive force value among the conditions of 29.99N at 0.3Mpa of the 40mm hose, and the water flow rate was 151lpm, and the maximum repulsive force of 349.96N was measured at 1.2Mpa of the 65mm hose and the water resistance at that time was 777lpm. In terms of qualitative repulsion measured on adults, men were able to maintain repulsion even when water shot by 0.9Mpa, but it was difficult to maintain repulsion when water shot using 65mm nozzle and 65mm fire hoses when water shot by 1.2Mpa. Conclusion: Quantitative, water shooting, and qualitative repulsion measurements using 50mm hoses confirmed that they were included between the results measured using 40mm hoses and 65mm hoses, and the possibility of using 50mm fire hoses was confirmed due to the lack of water flow rate of 40mm fire hoses and excessive repulsion of 65mm fire hoses.
연구목적: 국내에서 일반적으로 소방대원들이 사용하는 40mm와 65mm 소방호스와 더불어 현재 사용하지 않는 50mm 소방호스에 대한 활용 범위와 사용 가능성을 알아보기 위하여 다음과 같이 분석하였다. 연구방법: 각각의 호스를 이용하여 0.3Mpa에서 1.2Mpa의 압력까지 상승시켜 압력센서를 이용한 정량적인 반발력과 유량계를 이용한 방수량 및 남성과 여성을 대상으로 정성적인 반발력을 측정하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 확인하였다. 연구결과: 압력센서를 이용한 정량적인 반발력에서는 40mm 호스의 0.3Mpa에서 29.99N의 조건 중 최소의 반발력 값을 보여주었으며, 그때의 방수량은 151lpm 이었으며, 조건 중 최대의 반발력은 65mm 호스의 1.2Mpa에서 349.96N의 최대 반발력과 그때의 방수량은 777lpm으로 측정되었다. 성인들을 대상으로 측정한 정성적인 반발력에서는 남성의 경우 조건 중 0.9Mpa의 방수 시에도 반발력을 유지할 수 있었으나, 1.2Mpa 방수 시 65mm의 관창과 65mm 소방호스를 이용한 방수 시에는 반발력을 유지하기 어려운 조건을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론: 50mm 호스를 사용한 정량적인 반발력, 방수량 및 정성적인 반발력 측정 결과 40mm 호스와 65mm 호스를 사용하여 측정한 결과의 사이에 포함하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 40mm 소방호스의 방수량 부족과 65mm 소방호스의 반발력 과대로 인한 보완으로 50mm 소방호스의 사용 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.
