Purpose: Domestic buildings are trending not only towards being taller and larger, but also towards going underground. This paper presents an experimental study conducted to support the improvement of the performance of automatic pressure control dampers, considering the actual evacuation situations of occupants. Although the design standard stipulates that one exit door may be opened for buildings with 20 floors or fewer, and two exit doors may be simultaneously opened for buildings with more than 20 floors, this experiment was performed with a focus on real-world evacuation scenarios. Method: We investigated and reviewed domestic fire protection targets for residential buildings, examined domestic and international papers, policies, and regulations, and selected a 16-story residential building for experimental analysis of the product developed in this study. Result: The performance of the developed automatic pressure control damper was verified in real field conditions, and the results were derived from the findings. Conclusion: In this study, we confirmed that the improved performance of the automatic pressure control damper can achieve effective smoke control air velocity, even when multiple floor exit doors are simultaneously opened during the evacuation of occupants in real-life situations.
연구목적: 국내 건축물이 고층화, 대형화를 넘어서 지하화 되고있는 추세이다. 건축물 20층 이하의 경우 1개 출입문 개방, 20층을 초과할 경우 2개층 출입문이 동시 개방될 수 있다는 설계 기준을 따르고 있지만 현실적인 재실자의 피난 상황을 고려하여 실험을 통해 자동차압급기댐퍼의 성능 향상의 근거를 뒷받침하기 위해 실험 연구를 시행한 논문이다. 연구방법: 공동주택의 국내 소방 대상물을 조사·확인하였고, 국내 및 해외 논문 및 정책, 법규를 문헌 고찰하였으며, 본 연구의 개발 제품을 16층 공동주택 건축물을 선정하여 실험을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과: 개발하여 제시한 자동차압급기댐퍼를 적용하여 실제 현장에서의 성능을 검증하여 결과값을 도출하였다. 결론: 본 연구에서는 자동차압급기댐퍼의 성능 향상을 통해 실제 재실자의 피난 상황에서 여러 층 출입문이 동시 개방되어도 유효한 방연풍속의 성능 구현을 확인하였다.
