Abstract
Purpose: In the course of PC (Precast Concrete) construction, disasters such as equipment overturning, collapse of PC structure, and falling of workers are occurring frequently, and we would like to study how to prevent falling disasters of workers to protect human life. Method: The study was conducted at a specific construction site to investigate the installation of safety facilities to prevent falling accidents of PC construction workers and the countermeasures taken by workers’ active measures. Result: By focusing on pure fall accident prevention, except for the type of structure collapse accident during construction, which is centered on the PC construction site, the researcher confirms that the research product has a great effect on fall prevention unlike existing products. Conclusion: It is expected that the safety facilities utilizing the safety railing of the research product will play a large role in preventing fall accidents of workers participating in PC construction at domestic construction sites. In addition, it is expected that it will become the basic data for the improvement model of the fall prevention facility guideline (book) if it is established as a regulatory guideline for safety facilities for fall prevention of PC construction in the future.
