Purpose: The purpose is to find that the proportion of victims in Generation Z is high in the event of a major social disaster, analyze why the proportion of victims in Generation Z is high despite the promotion of safety education after the Sewol tragedy, and find a direction for safety education suitable for Generation Z based on this. Method: It analyzes various papers and data to study the characteristics of Generation Z, and checks the actual status of Generation Z's safety education to identify the weaknesses of Generation Z's safety education based on this. Result: Generation Z is a generation that values experience and values, and these characteristics act as a factor that hinders practicality and continuity in terms of safety education. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish a safety education program that motivates generation Z according to the characteristics of generation Z, and to prepare an educational plan for all generations Z to receive safety education by expanding safety education for each life cycle.
연구목적: 대형 사회재난 발생 시 Z세대 피해자의 비율이 높은 점을 발견하고, 세월호 참사 이후 안전교육 진흥에도 불구하고 Z세대 피해자의 비율이 높은 이유에 대해 분석하고 이를 기반으로 Z세대에게 효율적인 안전교육의 방향성을 찾는 것이 목적이다. 연구방법: 각종 논문과 자료를 분석하여 Z세대의 특성에 관해 연구하고, Z세대의 안전교육 실태를 확인하여 이를 기반으로 Z세대 안전교육의 취약점을 확인한다. 연구결과: Z세대는 경험과 가치를 중시하는 세대이며, 이런 특성이 안전교육의 측면에는 실용성과 지속성을 저해하는 요인으로 작용된다. 결론: Z세대의 특성에 맞는 동기유발 안전교육 프로그램을 확립하고, 생애 주기별 안전교육을 확장하여 모든 Z세대가 안전교육을 받을 수 있는 교육 방안이 마련되어야 한다.
